Accessibility statement
This website is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or a phone held one-handed. Where it falls short we want to hear about it and fix it.
What we have done
Accessibility was measured on this site, not assumed. Every page is tested automatically against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules at both desktop and phone widths, and every layout is measured at 21 screen sizes from 320×568 to 3840×2160 before it ships.
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- A "Skip to content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader can be used to jump through a page structurally.
- Text meets at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background; large text meets 3:1.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text alternative; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields are announced, and the result of a submission is read out.
- Buttons and navigation links are at least 44px tall on touch screens.
- Animation is switched off entirely for anyone whose device requests reduced motion, and no content depends on it to become visible.
- The site works at 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
Two things on this site are not fully under our control, and we would rather name them than pretend otherwise:
- The anti-spam check. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. It is designed to be accessible and usually needs no interaction at all, but it is third-party code. If it ever blocks you, call the terminal nearest you and we will take your details by phone — the phone route is always equivalent.
- Documents sent by email. Paperwork exchanged after a load is booked may come from other parties in formats we did not create. Ask us and we will supply the same information in a format that works for you.
If something does not work
Tell us and it gets fixed — we would rather hear about one broken thing than have you give up on the page. Email info@odysseytransport.ca or call Dieppe, NB on (506) 380-8511 or Calgary, AB on (403) 458-0288.
Please tell us the page address and what you were trying to do. If you can, mention the browser and any assistive technology you use — it makes the problem far quicker to reproduce.
Getting a quote another way
Nothing on this website is the only route to us. Every service on the services page can be quoted, and every position on the careers page applied for, entirely by telephone. You will not be asked to use the website to do business with us.
