Everything else on the form helps, but a lane, a date, a weight and a commodity are all it takes for us to come back with a real number.

Questions about quoting and booking
What information do you need to quote a load?
Pickup and delivery locations, the ready date, the approximate weight and what the freight is. That is enough for a realistic number. For temperature-controlled loads add the set point, and for anything unusual in size or handling tell us at the same time so the rate does not change later.
How long is a quote good for?
A rate is quoted for a specific lane, date and weight. While those stay the same, so does the rate. What changes it is the load changing — extra stops, a different weight class, or a date that moves the truck into another week — and freight rates themselves move over time, so an old quote is re-checked rather than reused.
Can I get a rate for a regular weekly lane?
Yes, and it is worth asking for. A lane we run repeatedly is easier to plan equipment around than a one-off, and that usually shows up in both the rate and the reliability. Mention the frequency in the message field.
What if my freight does not fill a trailer?
Our service is full truckload. If your shipment does not fill a trailer, tell us the pallet count, weight and lanes anyway — we will tell you plainly whether we can help or point you somewhere that can.
Prefer to talk it through?
Both terminals take calls directly. Whichever one is closer to your pickup is usually the faster call.
